What you can do next...

Step # 4
Send messages to families that appeal to you
Once your Request is approved, , you can begin viewing the profiles of a number of babysitting families that we send you. Check out their information and their photo. If you come across a family that might be a good fit for you, send them a message and introduce yourself! You can tell them more about your babysitting experience, what you could offer and why you would be a good match. During your conversation you could ask the following questions: - When do you need a babysitter? - What do you look for in a babysitter? - What additional tasks does your babysitter have to do?
Step # 4
Step # 5
Schedule an interview & meet the kids
Now it's time to meet your new Sitter family! If you are not yet completely sure, you can also first set up a video call via, for example, WhatsApp or Skype. If you like what you hear and see, you can continue the conversation with the family at home. Do you get on well with the parents? Top! But, it's even more important that you get along with the kids. After all, you'll be spending more time with them than with the parents. Introduce yourself to the kids and see how it goes. Some children like to show you all kinds of things right away, other children can be shy. Of course you don't have to make a separate appointment to meet the children, it is useful to combine this with the job interview.
Step # 5
Step # 6
Sign a Babysitting Agreement
f you have found the perfect nanny family, it is wise to make good agreements with each other to avoid misunderstandings. You could even record these agreements in an agreement. That agreement can be very simple. You can put everything you think is important in it, such as: - Your hourly rate - Your working hours - Any additional tasks Special information about the children (certain rituals, use of medicines, allergies, etc.)
